Vivek Subramanian

Vivek Subramanian is an Investing Partner and Chief Product Officer at Goodwater Capital, where he leads India and eCommerce investments. Vivek also leads the in-house software and data science teams that build Goodwater’s proprietary investing platform.

Vivek brings over 20 years of tech operating experience as a C-level executive and founder. Prior to Goodwater, he helped scale Sonder’s hospitality business to 38 cities across the globe. Before that, Vivek served as Head of Product at Coupang, where he was instrumental in pivoting the business from a daily deals site to a multi-billion dollar, vertically integrated eCommerce and delivery powerhouse. He also co-founded CalmSea, a marketing SaaS company that was acquired by Coupang.

Vivek holds an MBA from UC Berkeley, a MS in Computer Science from UT Austin, and a BS in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani in India.
